Program Description

This workshop is universally applicable to all people, personally and professionally. This workshop is a prerequisite for the First-Time Leaders Accelerated℠ workshop. ​​​​ You will: - learn how our two most important people skills are being eroded. - experience and learn to prevent the Communication Paradox.​ ​​​​​​​- improve your people skills. You will learn why communication and emotional intelligence are the most important people skills and how you can immediately improve your skills and others. Poor communication or miscommunication is the root of most problems and can be expensive. Emotional intelligence is the strongest predictor of success. You will be equipped with the people skills you can apply and benefit from the rest of your lives. The initial emphasize of this course will focus on the often-overlooked fundamentals. You will gain an in-depth understanding of why and how the communication paradox is eroding our two most important people skills. Occasionally, I use appropriate humor or minimal attendee distress, to ensure you experience the emotions and feelings created by the communication paradox. Post Workshop Resources: At the completion of this learning session, you will receive a knowledge guide, containing the details of the information covered. It is recommended you don't attempt to multitask by taking notes and listening at the same time. Multitasking is a misnomer. People cannot perform two cognitive activities simultaneously. People can switch rapidly between multiple thoughts, giving the illusion of multitasking. You will know how much your knowledge improved as the result of attending this workshop.
